Menu of the Week
So, I'm back to work now, working in Boston. (The closest city to me...but still a bit of a commute.) While I do actually like taking the train in (despite my horror story of the other day), I can actually do the drive in a shorter amount of time. Hmm...I'm trying to think of which is the better way to get in still, as work will help subsidize both. (My work is cool like that, by the way.)
In the meantime, I am commuting, and would like to keep things a little more organized at home. I've found that I can actually pack lunch in the morning, which is good, as I have no desire to do that right now. (Except for tonight, as it's leftovers for lunch tomorrow.) The harder part is going to be dinner. So, I'm going to attempt to organize myself and plan meals for the week. And hopefully this will help with the actual grocery shopping on Sundays.
This Week:
- Monday: Spaghetti (good for when I'm stuck on a train) (And now there is leftover pasta in the fridge.)
- Tuesday: Gardenburgers and french fries (soy Gardenburgers are yummy!)
- Wednesday: Italian bread pizza (cheese for Jeremy and Ethan, Barbecued pork for me...and leftover for tomorrow)
- Thursday: Fend For Yourself (a popular night at my house...I will probably make macaroni and cheese with hot dogs for Ethan and I)
- Friday: Take-out night
- Saturday: Dinner out with my parents or dinner at their house (before the Simpson's movie)
- Sunday: Would like to try tofu parmesan on linguini
