Show us some fish.
For some more abstract fish, I am a Pisces. I could just show you myself, but hey, I got a Pisces tatoo, so I'll show that. It's on my left ankle, and was my first tattoo. I knew I wanted a Pisces tattoo, but the design and colors were spontaneous. One of the guys I went with looked at the design and said, "Oh, like One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish." So that's why they are red and blue!

From left to right, Buttermilk Falls, Ithaca Falls, Taughannock Falls, and Tremen Falls, 75% of which are located in Ithaca, NY. (Taughannock Falls is actually in Ulysses, but it's the next town over.) Add to that Cayuga Lake (which we did not get pictures of this time around), and I seriously want to retire here. Up until recently, we wanted to move here now, but there seems to be a lack of those "job" things there, so we're looking into the Boston area now.
But anywho, I figure in "retirement" we won't need those "job" things as much (I trust that I'll have at least a part-time one, as I can't just sit around at home), but I'm hoping to be able to do a whole lot more creative stuff. I would absolutely love to get myself set up with a kiln and a pottery wheel, as I imagine it would be less dangerous than making glass. (Which, by the way, was really fun too!) Plus, I can do some more crochet, and probably go ahead and sell stuff online or a the farmer's market.
Plus, it's so PRETTY there! And there's stuff outside and all. I'm all sold on Ithaca. :)

The Ethan. Makes me laugh all the freikin' time. Tonight I grabbed one of his toys and was using it as a microphone. He yells at me, "No! Sing loud! Okay?!" Apparently, I wasn't doing it right, so he takes it and started singing "OH SUSANNAH!!" Then he looks at me, gives it back to me and says, "OKAY?!"
If you could write a book about anything, what would it be about?
I would imagine it would have to be a study on how pop culture has influenced history and vice versa. Just 'cause that's what I imagine myself writing a book on at some point when I'm doing a hoity-toity Theatre PhD. I think it would be an interesting thing... Just thinking off the top of my head the role Moliere and Beaumarchais and the like had in lampooning the monarchy, and the effect that might have had in the French Revolution and the resulting overthrow of said monarchy. Hmmm... Maybe I'll just write that and get the thing over with.
But really, I just wanted to point out that, if the lighting had been good (i.e. a palm tree wasn't casting a shadow), I would have TOTALLY had the best picture for the Vox Hunt today: Take a picture of your commute. See, in Vegas, we have "mobile billboards", or trucks with big posters on the back. Well, every single time I see the "Sexy Babes Direct To You!", I keep thinking, "Kimber, why?!?!?!?!" Referring, of course, to Kimber from Nip/Tuck. 'Cause the girl on the billboard looks just like her. At least when you're not stuck in traffic right next to her.
